Our Mission
The Sami’s Sendoffs mission is to be a “City on a Hill” for children and families battling, surviving or grieving the effects of childhood cancer. We want to bring life back to a child’s eyes, something they never should have lost in the first place. Through care packages, experience, photoshoots or advocacy work, we fight childhood cancer alongside our warriors, reminding them they never have to walk a day in this life alone. Sunshine Boxes
One way Sami’s Sendoffs supports families is through the Sunshine Box initiative. Through our Sunshine Boxes, Sami’s Sendoffs sends care packages to children and families in need of a smile.
Sami’s Sendoffs believes in partnership. Because we love collaboration, Sami’s Sendoffs has partnered with local hospitals and organizations to further our mission and better the journeys of the children they serve!

A note from Sami:
All my life, I struggled fitting in. I was the “outcast,” and sometimes I still am. But sooner or later it hit me: my purpose is to BE what makes me different. I want to inspire others my age to do the same. The world is too dark and life is too short not to. Whether its chasing your dream, saying hello to a stranger, passing a law, raising money, an advocacy walk, getting a kid to the World Cup or a toy drive… everyone, old and young, has the opportunity to spread their OWN sunshine. The time is now and the chance is in front of you. I am so glad I took that chance. I hope you know you can too.
